Coletivo PARTE is a student-led, democratic collective rooted in the Student’s Association of FAUP (AEFAUP). It operates as an open platform for discussion, collaboration, and action, bringing students together to rethink and actively engage with architectural education, culture and community. The collective challenges traditional structures by promoting shared decision-making, collective creativity and inclusive practice. Through initiatives, events and public interventions, PARTE seeks to energize academic life, foster critical dialogue around contemporary architectural issues, and expand the role of students beyond conventional curricular boundaries. It encourages contributions from its members and the broader community, creating a space where ideas are debated, responsibilities are shared and new activities are constantly proposed.

FAUPfest is an annual cultural and musical festival organized within the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto. Since its inception in 2015, the event has grown into a significant student-driven celebration of music, art and creativity. Set in the gardens of the faculty, FAUPfest showcases emerging local artists and collective student creativity, and is designed to rethink how academic spaces can engage with broader cultural life. More than just a party, FAUPfest emphasizes collaboration, artistic expression and community building, involving extensive student planning and participation in everything from stage design to curation.
